I think the Tradescantia is going for world domination! I started with two tiny cuttings from a plant my daughter had and it's outgrown two pots and needed to be split into several more pots!

love the whole specie...I have the perennial T.Sweet Kate and have had numerous types as house plants for ages...One that I loved and lost was from Australia (I think) it had furry green leaves and lovely rosey mauve flowers..(tripetal) Then there are the lovely crystalline white and pale green...the name escapes me...and the reddish purple one... Has this one put out any blossom, Nariz? It must be busy setting up base camps and taking over the tv and radio stations! lol....

Yes, Lori, it occasionally thows out very small but beautiful bright pink tripetal flowers - hardly worth noticing with all that lovely purple foliage.
