This low growing shrub was growing was growing in the tropical house Oxfords botanic gardens today.
Native to the Dominican Republic.

Great plant! It's related to the genus: Randia.
This plant look very similar to Randia macrantha.

Yes, Randia macrantha (or Euclinia longiflora) is absolutely beautiful! It doesn't grow very well here...it's too tropical.

Yes, it's super tender to even cool conditions. It's a cool weather wimp, like me. lol! :>)

Randia macrantha (or Euclinia longiflora) would most likely only do well in a heated greenhouse where you live...most likely even here or maybe an unheated greenhouse may do here (possibly).

I've been familiar with the shrub for at least 20 years. The name has officially changed to Euclinia longiflora.
This shrub grow very well in Hawai'i.
