This member of the Amaryllidaceae family was growing was growing in the tropical house Oxfords botanic gardens today. One of the days stars for me!
Native to Peru.

That's a gorgeous plant! I don't think I've ever seen one this nice here in San Diego. The snails usually attack them (from what I remember).
