This NZ Native flax is something of an icon in NZ gardens & very sought after for its beautiful silver colouring. Also beautiful as a potted plant, especially in a large glazed blue container.

Love the idea of this in a large blue glazed pot. :)))))) fantastic. If we cant grow it here in the UK, would you grow one for us? - then we can all share it by association. Cheeky wotsit aren't I???

I am intending to pop one into the garden border amongst some strong pink roses & lavender (oh the many visions I have!), as I think it would structurally look good & the colour combination would be nice. I just happen to have a large glazed blue pot (empty), so hmmmm ... worth a thought! If it is sold in the UK, would that be just as an indoor plant?

I saw one in the local private nursery we visited at the weekend, & was very tempted to buy it, but had several others to purchase as it was. I will get one next time I popped in there.

It's beautiful and its colour and shape adds a lot to any garden!

I am determined to plant one of these NZ natives in the garden this year, Migra. I have several flaxes doing well, which were planted in the spring last year .... Varying shades of red & pink. Just waiting for the spring as still too cold over in this part of the world. Will put up a pic when it is in.

I love it, but am not too sure that it will grow in England.
