It's an easy plant to grow, especially if you have good soft water. It tends to have brown-tipping on the leaves here because of hard water.

It can share the bottled water that I have to buy my Tibouchina when that is indoors!

You get a lot of rain there, correct? Why not use rain water...that's the best water for plants.

As it comes off the roofs it collects all sorts of nastiness!
Also, it's very acidic.

You're not drinking it...you're watering plants. I wish we acidic rain water here...all my acid-loving plants would be in 7th Heaven!

I collect water in my water trash cans. I have four...they last for quite a while throughout the very long dry season here. I only use the water on my hard-water sensitive plants.

To be honest, I'm more adverse to the green slime that grows on the soil as a result of using this water indoors Delonix!

Oh, that doesn't sound so good! I never get that on my plants...it's too dry for green slime to develop here.
