Aster novae-angliae 'Violetta'

What a beautiful picture, would make a wonderful painting B.

It's hard to get the colour right with this one....I had the same problem...Frickartii is the same isn't it. Every time I take a photo it looks 'grey'.

Yes, the colour of this one is really dark but a photo doesn't show it

I can capture 'Monch', K. This one - no chance. As Andrew says, it's a deep purple.

It's really purple, Kath - my camera won't get the colour right.

And a dark purple at that. I can't get the colour right on my photos either :-(
