I am afraid our neighbours' ducks look on our garden as a kind of one-stop shopping centre, and do the circuit time and time again. They don't harm anyone, but make a fearful slimy, stinking mess everywhere. So, yes, out of bounds. They are all ultimately for dinner - unfortunately not ours, although we always get given one for Easter. Tough as old boots. We know now to stew them instead of roast them. Sorry!

That's ok..the Country life ,naturally...very selfsufficient :o)
I know what you mean, about the slimy mess..walking round country parks .spending as much time watching where we walk, as the scenery ! Lol.

They breed and eat ducks, we breed and eat pigeons Gattina. Does it sounds awful to you? Definitely I won't eat your cat and dog. Mind you in some other places they do.

No, it doesn't sound awful at all. I try to be broad minded, Costas. Why not breed pigeons for the table? I do find it difficult to come to terms with eating cats or dogs because I have an emotional tie to them. It didn't stop us eating Rosso and Grosso, though (pigs) but they weren't meant to be pets.

You can have our pigeons anytime Costas, we are inundated with them and they make such a mess. Lovely picture Gattina.
