We inherited this - it has a wonderful fragrance, and is definitely not iceberg. Anyone got any suggestions?

I don't know either but I would like to!

I wonder if it might be a Margaret Merrill Rose which has 28 petals and 4" across with a strong fragrance, with double high- centred flowers with a faint pink tint in the middle. I have one and it looks the same?

That's what I thought, Denise, but I used to have a MM, and the blossoms were bigger than these, and creamier, so maybe not. The lady who sold us the house DID tell me once, but I can't remember what she said. I shall have to 'phone her.

Ahh..smaller than Mm..Gattina I thought it looked to big to be a Boule de Neige....And you have no buds in the Photo which would have helped. Could it be?

I'm sure I can find you a bud, Pimpernel. It's getting too dark right now, but maybe tomorrow.
