I have quite a few round the garden, some I've done from cuttings and I think its one of the most reliable roses there are.

does is get the dreaded blackspot?

Yes, Lulu, I'm afraid she does, but not nearly so badly as some - e.g. Schoolgirl

Beautiful...
I don't have much luck with roses. Blackspot and fungus, gave up and pulled them out.

Oh, Regina, what a shame! Some kinds seem much, much better than others at resisting blackspot, and some seem doomed from the start, even when planted in the same bed and sprayed constantly. Other than blackspot, what sort of fungus did they get? I'm sure there are loads of incredibly clever and well-informed people on this site (well, we KNOW there are) who will be able to suggest resistant alternatives. You can't go without roses in your garden!
