Heh..I made rolls too with a bread mix from Asda..I kneaded it well and did what they told me to, they didnt rise and are like little rocks..maybe Paul could use them in his garden lol! Should be ok heated up with soup maybe..failing that the birds will have a good feed! ;)

They look wonderful! I have never had any success with scones. I use the same recipe my mother used to use ... hers would come out of the oven about 3-4" high .... mine come out around 2" high (if I'm lucky). My mother used to look at them, sigh heavily & say 'it's all in the wrist .. you have to be gentle' Now, when it comes to pavlova, I'm good lol.

Aha..well I mkae meringues and Rick says they are great, but I know they arent right!

Pixi, those scones look great. Good for you for having a go. I can't bake to save my life. When I had domestic science at school, even my parents didn't want to eat the stuff I brought home!!

I am very good at the "heat and serve" method of cooking though.
