Looks like very healthy sort. Does it have spots? How high is it?

Do you mean 'blackspot' Katarina? No, it doesn't apppear to suffer from that. It's a shortish rose - I think it's about 3' maximum.

Wow oh la la this is beautiful

Oh Kath - you can't buy every rose you see! You're as bad as me, aren't you. ;-D)

You found it, then. Yes, I like it too - it's a bit short for where I planted it, though. I might move it.

Barbara how is this rose doing, we have just bought a standard Darcey,..... Peter has always wanted a standard rose, as we have made some changes to the garden{as you do} we actually had a spare flower bed, just looking for something to underplant her now, but not lavenders, any ideas? next spring we shall plant tulips or low growing bulbs etc.

She's fine, Dd. You know what I'll say, don't you!!!!! I have Geranium himalayense 'Gravetye' under mine. A spare flower bed? You? Amazing. :-D)

I know it is amazing, but, we have moved the urn, Peter wanted to hide it instead of having it on show (if you know what I mean?, so it is now amongst the grasses, if that does not work it will be on ebay!!) and we shall buy something more suitable..
Of course I should have guessed it would have been a HG, silly me, I have just bought some more HGs, could not resist, but they are already allocated, so we have put some spare Heucheras around for now.....so watch this space.

Didn't he like the urn?
17 Mar, 2014
Lol it was his urn!! treated himself a few years ago, it is a beautiful one, but it was really too large for the small area of grass it occupied, so it looked rather ostentatious, had it been taller and thinner it would have looked balanced, do you know what I mean?
At the moment we are just moving it around, well Peter and SIL because it is so heavy. We might have to move house lol:-!

Oops! That's a bit drastic!
18 Mar, 2014
I was only joking lol
