its not my recipe karen ~ its nice.
ginger biscuit base, spread with caramel condensed milk, then slices of apple which have been softened in butter and a bit of sugar, layer those on the caramel and finish with whipped cream!! oh yes and i put some crushed hazelnuts on top of that ~ but you could put shards of toffee!!! sarah raven recipe.

i had to make a pudding for a harvest supper ~ it had to be served cold as there was apparently no oven. i didnt want to do cold pie or crumble so i found this recipe!!!

Ah, yes, it would be perfect for that wouldn't it. heavenly! I 'had' to make an apple cake for tea after seeing all this! Still, a little bit of stewed apple with a cake made with lf spread...not too bad at all. :S
