i use creeping fig on the small potted topiaries.

hi poppy...i've used ivy before, but mostly on standards; you know, the "lollipops" or simple shapes. i found that a particular shape like an animal quickly disappears under ivy and you can't tell what it's suppposed to be.

no, wow, that's an idea. i've seen some wreaths done in small succulents....is that the kind you mean?

Yes the little houseleeks or sometimes called cobwebs. Ive seen some done at shows like Chelsea and Hampton court. Look really good if you use different colour variations. I had a lovely postcard with full size figures. Dont know what happened to it. If I find it I'll put it on here for you.

I just saw this again Noah, sorry I forgot all about putting on pics. However I just recently went to Hampton Court and took quite a few photos of various animals made out of sedums. If youre still interested take a look at my blog on Hampton Court.
