Thanks Bernieh. I love this plant as well, it was driving me crazy in the summer....loads and loads of flower buds and they just kept drying up. I think maybe it was too hot for the plant. Good luck on yours, will look forward to your pic.
p.s. Had a look at your blog...fantastic. I love all your plants.

Thanks Alex! It's always great to hear that people enjoy the blog. It's a lot of fun. As for my Hoya, so far all the buds are looking pretty good. I've had the plant for two years now and have been waiting very patiently.

It was really funny when your music started playing....I looked at my netbook like it's gone bonkers...
Two years??? My plant is from last winter's cutting, not even a year yet. I agree, you need a lot of patience with some plants.

Oh dear, the Tesselaar catalogue arrived today. Guess what's in it! Hoyas lacunosa, heusch-kaliana, pubicalyx and Indian Rope!! How fortuitous that they're included just when I've finally had some success with my Hoya bella! Meant to be perhaps.

I want most of them Meanie!!! Plus there are a few more Clerodendrons I would loooove. I planted one of my Clerodendron Ugandense in my garden....it looks nice..

I think I need more than one flower to get the smell!!! Something must be wrong with my nose. ;o}

They usually have a better fragrance when grown in the ground outside in the evening.

I'll be sniffing the flower again this evening. This plant is loaded with buds at the moment.

I'm seeing flower buds on mine for the very first time. I'm so excited. Yours look brilliant! They are such a fabulous little flower. They rather look like those decorations you buy for cakes.
