i've shared them with the birds and kept some to grow next year David. mam realy enjoyed watching them get munched...lol
i know what u mean Gurthbruins. nature can be so random sometimes but here its almost mathematical...

Loads of uses for these, of course. Can remove the seeds, and dry off in a warm oven (love the oily smell). Store in jar for personal nibbling, or store for birdfood. You can also leave on the plant for birdfood, or cut and place on a birdtable for those birds which cannot get a vertical grip - apart from just to obtain free seed for to grow on for annuals next year, of course. Love sunflowers!!!! :-))
