Flying geese

Sorry its not clear, there was loads of them flying over the house, think they was going to Marton Mere Wetland for winter, its not far from me, and the other year Autumnwatch was there.

iv seen lots to carol, had to be about 50+last week flying over.

With the river down the road we get flocks of geese flying over here too. We saw a huge flock with several V shapes across it a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen them since. I think they have migrated somewhere else for the colder months. They are a sight to behold though and to hear them calling to one another really gets to the heartstrings for me.

We get them in our local park and meadows every year but I`ve noticed that they fly over our house every day at dusk and come back every morning, I have never known them do that before only this one, have been wondering if they head out to Tallington Lakes for the night or even further out to the Fens...
