This nursery in San Diego, CA. has endless varieties of mango trees. These were the small trees the large ones were in the background. Photo taken June 12, 2011.

Mango is one of my favorite fruits, also. Mango trees grow well in San Diego, however, they don't grow as large as in the tropics. The largest trees I've ever seen here are only 35ft/11m tall. In the tropics they can easily top out at 90ft/28m or taller. Although, the dwarf varieties which only grow to 12ft/3.7m are very popular in the urban areas, with small yards.

What were they selling for ? the large ones also?

I don't remember the prices. I just know they were expensive...because they're all grafted varieties.

I wish we had the climate to grow these outdoors.Mango is one of my favourite fruits.
