Mine struggled this year - two deformed flowers was all that I got.

Thank you Tet. There are a few more that I'm waiting to see the flowers!
There is one that I think is a type of Hoya that my mom didn't want.
An orchid I'm saving for my mom but I'm keeping.

Meanie,
This plant is outdoors and has bloomed on and off for me all summer.
The one I kept in the house gave me two or three flowers...it's out on my balcony now and that's were it's going to stay.

Mine really did not like it outdoors!

Mine really did not like it indoors!
Full of gorgeous big leaves but only three flowers....what's the point.

No point at all! I need a rethink on mine........

Alexandramou; Meanie:
This vine needs a lot of bright light to bloom well. It really does best outdoors (Meanie, I know it's very tropical).
I had this vine once, I used to bring it indoor when blooming...then the flowers would fall off...then back outdoors it would go to flower again (I had it trained as a little standard).

Yes, it's definitely more happy outdoors! My mom left her's outside all winter and it died down to twigs....come spring it just shot right up and flowered all summer.

It should do well in a protected spot, should it?

Yes it should. ;o) I have both of mine in protected areas where they receive lots and lots of sun. This one in the pic has loads of buds ready to open.
