I like the plants found in canals. When I was in school ( centuries ago lol ) I made a study of the canal plants growing near where I lived. I've still got the drawings I made of them. They've turned that part of the canal into a nature reserve now but in those days it was just uncared for.

they are dredging the canal here and cleaning it all up which is good, its a lovely place

I hope they don't dredge away all the lovely waterside plants. It's a beautiful place for a walk. I've seen photos of it with you.

think its just the bottom of the canal they are cleaning up Blodyn, so plants should be ok

they grow in dry soil.
