Amazing isn't it! Didnt do any better in the summer!!
Still plenty left in the garden to..my Lady Hillingden rose has over 20 buds on it still plus the roses already out, but they are too high to reach and dont make long lasting flower indoors.
I just worry that when winter hits..it will be really hard.
Sticki, its a candle holder from Tesco. The painting next to it is an oil, a 1902 snow picture of an old french village. Dont know if you remember it.

Amazing Tet. :) I love those tea-light holders with little holes in the side: is that what yours is?? Tesco never ceases to surprise me!

Tet what a joy to see, I wonder how much longer we will be able to enjoy this weather, raining here, and we need it, water butt on empty.

We are raining too DD, gentle stuff which seems to soak more. Doesnt batter the plants! All the buds have now opened up and there is about 9 roses in the vase now...looks wonderful.
No Sheilabub, no holes..its a sort of glass covered in masses of glitter..the glow of a candle just lights it enough to make it glow. Bought it in their sale just after last christmas for £3 lol!

Pretty bargain! I wandered round Lakeland today and got about a dozen "stocking fillers" . . we don't do big pressies at Christmas, just little things which are given out randomly as prizes, for winning a quiz or for doing the washing up, lol!

I missed that remark Sheila..what a great idea! Especially for us older ones, I find I dont really need "things" much anymore, but my friend bought me a great little bird squeezer, really neat...ooops, bird shaped that should be lol! (RSPB will be after me![:-/ ) either for garlic or lemon..I find my big hand crusher too much these days.

I'm now feeling a bit sorry for your "big hands" Tet . . .

12 Jan, 2012

I know! I constantly smell of lemon and/or garlic...OH says he cant stand it...so glad I have the little birdshape squeezer..dont think he will leave me now lol!
