It certainly does look healthy. Mine are the bigger variety & flowered throughout the early part of spring, but as with everything else in my garden, including my poor roses, it is getting battered down by constant rain & high winds. Great to see yours flowering in autumn.

Makes you wonder what they will do next year though doesn't it? I expect they will just get on with it, but it is a very odd year.

Here we go again J, there's no stopping the plants, the ground is still so warm...

Wow what a bonus. I have some of these too M, no flowers at all on mine yet, but I only planted the corms in the spring. I would grow them for the leaves alone.. soooo nice.

I agree P...love the colour texture and shape of the leaves, the flower is a bonus...

Isn't that beautiful? Are Zantedeschia the ones with the heavenly perfume? I've tried growing these on a couple of occasions but the sad little dried up bits of root/stem one finds in the plastic bag just stayed like that - dried up and dead! Many, many years ago there was a huge one growing outside the b & b we stayed at in Jersey, and the scent filled the air for yards and yards around. Think I must try again.

I have seen photos of all sorts of coloured ones, Meadowland, but it's the white ones that I love, and of course, it's going to have to be the hardy variety. Shame about the perfume!

Ml yours look very similar to mine - which are the really large flowered variety called Crowborough. They are supposed to be super hardy too which is a real bonus. I always bought Crowborough for the flower shop , the flowers came out better, some were like rolled up newspaper and didnt open up properly. These white ones were much stronger and longer stemmed with a much better loveheart shaped flower.Didnt notice any scent, but the flowers were Wow!
