A closer look at this peach color. Its like the trees blushed into fall this year. Most commonly, just a bright yellow and then the leaves are gone.

Looking fantastic, with that sky as a backdrop.

Superb Autumn colours. Much better than I have seen in the UK this year.

Thank you. I can't believe I hadn't looked at the sky until I started hearing comments! It is troubled and interesting. :-)
Our colors were just perfect this year Rbt. First frost came second to last week of August, followed by a long fall lengthened until the first week of October. We usually have two to four weeks of color. We were lucky. What influence your color?

The UK has had it's warmest autumn for many years. Kew had it's first frost yesterday (28th).As I'm sure you know, trees need a cold snap to trigger good colour. There are a lot of confused plants in the gardens, many are behaving as if spring has arrived.

So it has been no cold, at least not enough. And sounds also like not really a warm summer either causing all that confusion. Strange weather even here. We set low temperature records already, six days straight. Coldest city on earth for two of those days. :-)
Hope the strange weather doesn't set anything back.
