Poor wee thing...she's only 6 weeks old...and a bag of bones...
My friend said she wanted a puppy so the boys went to a neighbouring village and came back with two. This one would have died if we left her, so she's one of the gang now.
She's got great ears, J! All cleaned up and looking pretty! Needs to be hand fed for a few days and she'll be on the mend! :)

ah, so sweet, how could you call her Fang???
she has quite big paws, could end up a big dog??
28 Nov, 2011
Fang - brill. She is gorgeous. Ears are fab. And I was worried about bringing pebbles back!!! :o)))))))
28 Nov, 2011
maybe Fangtastic???

She's beautiful. I'm sure she will fit right in & become a very valued & loved member of your family Karen. Will look forward to seeing photos of her as she gains strength, begins to fill out, & gnaw at the occasional slipper (or two).

She is just so sweet,Karen..so glad Fang will have a good home with you..you have made my day..I hate to see Animals without any hope or love in their lives..one lucky little dog..:o)

28 Nov, 2011
Haha! Fangtastic - I like that! :)))
She's a wee cutie right now but Gawd knows how big she'll get!! We've decided to call the breed, 'Dingle'...
Dingo from the jungle! lol!
28 Nov, 2011
probably akin to a great dane ~ great dingle???
28 Nov, 2011
I want a Dingle ! Even nicer than your hedge.
28 Nov, 2011
might grow even taller than the hedge??
28 Nov, 2011
Lol! Or 'Bat Eared Dingle'?? :))
N3tyy - pebbles, puppies....help!!! Whatever next??? ;))
Dwyllis and Bloomer - She'll have a good life...our other female dog is already protecting her :))
You don't think her name suits her, Scottish???? ;))
28 Nov, 2011
Aw, Pimpernel...I could bring one back for you! ;)
28 Nov, 2011
She's big for 6 weeks Karen, Lucky should be her name, Because She's Lucky she met you, Awwwww :)
28 Nov, 2011
Awwwwwwww ..hey she might be a long lost cousin of Zak?
28 Nov, 2011
She is quite big for her age, Ydd...and judging from the way she wolfed her breakfast...about to mushroom! :)
'Fang' started as a joke...because she so isn't - but it stuck...
Who's Zak, Pixi? :)
29 Nov, 2011
Zak DIngle from Emmerdale lol!
29 Nov, 2011
Oh! hahaha! She'd probably fit right in there! lol! :))))
29 Nov, 2011
Aye lol ;)))))))
29 Nov, 2011
It's not that I don't like the name...just a shame to give a a cute wee girl handle like that :)
29 Nov, 2011
I know, Scottish...but it's confidence-boosting! ;)
29 Nov, 2011
Hadn't thought of it like that :)
29 Nov, 2011
And it seems to be working...she's coming out of her shell now...maybe too much! lol!

What a cutie! :>)

She's doing really well, Delonix - clean bill of health from the vet...and no ribs sticking through any more, after only just over a week! :))))
6 Dec, 2011
you could do a fangtastic blog so we can watch her grow!!
6 Dec, 2011
That's a good idea Sticki! I've been trying to take photos of her but the only time that she's still enough is when she's asleep!!!
6 Dec, 2011
She's gorgeous Karen, looking forward to seeing her grow too:-)
7 Jan, 2012
Hi Ba! She's already double the size now...and trouble! :)))
11 Jan, 2012
She'll be worth it:-)

Have done a bit of research on her now, J...apparently she is a Basenji (Lagos Bush Dog) crossed with something else. Supposed to be silent...but not! lol!
She has chewed all the dining table and chair legs and is the bane of Esther's life!
11 Jan, 2012
I have just read up on them K...It is not that they are supposed to be silent, The bark has been bred out of them. the noise they make is called a Yodel..Lol or a baroo or something.
and then I found this bit of good news..
According to the book The Intelligence of Dogs, they are the second least trainable dog. My Bruce would be very least one.
Lol..Meadow

Oh Dear Lord!!
Pimpernel! I think that we (me and OH) have a talent for choosing crazy mutts!!
That means we now have two of the most difficult dogs known to man!....still, at least one of them only yodels...(and that's not the mountain sheepdog!)
...the other one has scissor action teeth to help Fang with the curtains, J! lol!!!
11 Jan, 2012
Puppies, anyone??? J??? lol!!!
11 Jan, 2012
Lol...One other interesting bit of info..They stand up on their hind legs naturally, like Meerkats. Put things well out of reach Karen.
11 Jan, 2012
note to selves...
We must stop taking puppies home whilst under the influence...and then doing internet research when it's too bloody late... lol!

Saved this to Favourites when you first got Fangs, & just read through all the comments, so wondering how Fangs is doing nowadays? Our 13 week old Golden Retriever puppy is a chewer & a digger, & what an appetite! He was around 6 kilos when we got him at 7 weeks old & yesterday he weighed in at 15.5 kilos! He has moments of complete madness too & has totally disrupted the very sedate lifestyle of our little six year old papillon. My OH keeps having to remind me that he won't be a puppy forever :0)
