It probably is then, J! This smells divine, quite small flowers and beautiful glossy leaves...
This one is just growing on the roadside...I think I'll have to get it for the garden, though!

It looks like the double form of Gardenia tahitensis. They're very beautiful!

I've got one with variagated leaves, ready to plant, Delonix...
and that's a good idea, Bloomer, I think I'll get our 'gardener/security' man to go out and get loads of cuttings from these roadside plants!! :))
