I've lifted a couple of my Salvia today to store the tubers for the winter.
This is Salvia guaranitica "Black and Blue" which was a snapped stem in June.

I've lost every single one in the garden so took a couple of cuttings this year.
I've decided to lift this one as an experiment, leave the largest one in the garden against my better judgement, and the cuttings will stay in the pots in a coldframe.

I dont lift mine Meanie and it survives from year to year.
Do you find the plant stays small because of lifting?
