Back of the garage

The back of the garage faces north east covered largely by a Hydrangea petiolaris. In front are a few Hostas alongside an Aucuba japonica 'Crotonifolia' which I must feed in spring as it looks a bit poorly in this pic. Closer to us is Astrantia major 'Large White' and Persicaria amplexicaulis 'Taurus'. Both plants love moisture but seem to be coping in my sandy soil. It must be down to the large quantity of added manure!
