Took this picture just before getting hit by a snow storm. There was close to six inches of snow but it all melted within a few days, it's been a very mild December so far.

what a lovely shaped tree, the snow helps to highlight it.

Rkwright, I have acer japonicum Aconitifolium. There are differences in information I have got from different sources about what is its definite height. Majority of sources claim, that it will be around 1.5 metres high. What is your experience?

Most Acer japonicum can grow to 15-20ft eventually. A lot of sources list height based on growth after 10 years and it's a slow growing tree.
