Good morning to all of you on this sunny warm first day of the new year.
I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and are happy and safe.

This is the Greek Basilopita. (I posted a pic last year as well). There is a coin placed in the cake before it's cooked. The one who finds it has good luck for the whole year.....(more of the story on last years pic).

Just had my first piece.....nope, no coin. Cake very very yummy.
