Actually, Peperomia is a pretty tropical plant. I know it doesn't tolerate freezing temps. Most are native to the tropical rain forest of South America.

Well we don't "usually" get freezing temps! I might give it a try....

I just remembered this plant doesn't tolerate cold, wet soil, either. It does well in a protected spot in mostly shade, though.

Oh well, it stays as a pot plant then. (I still might give it a try this summer)
