January 2012

Our yard has been covered with over two feet of snow; twice this winter. It has been unbelievably warm here. Just sitting back waiting for spring. Saskatchewan, Canada

Lovely photo. Spent two weeks in Canada Nov 2009 went to see a friend who I hadn't seen for 31 years !!! We passed Saskatchewan but didn't see any snow at that time. Canada is the most beautiful country.

How warm is unbelievably warm? I have to ask!

We have been having a lot of days above zero C or 32 F, which is uncommon for us for this time of year. I just looked at the forecast and we may be in for some winter weather in the upcoming week or so. It is not uncommon to get temps below -40 C or -40 F.

It is unbelievably warm when in January you can walk outside in a spring jacket and running shoes, the snow is melting, the birds are singing and the sun is warm on your face. Say 5 to 10 degrees C. (It doesn't take much to make it feel like spring here in Canada.) lol
