Thanks all and especially Dawn ,it's lovely Dawn so pretty I didn't expect it to flower this early you were right about it being happy under trees it's under the Holly trees and as you can see quite happy :o))

Any plant that prospers under trees is always more than welcome :-0

Hi Amy, they spread nicely without being invasive. A couple of feet I'd say and keep low to the ground. You can cut back and they happily reappear each year.
