Queen's Wreath Vine flowering at a GoY member's house in San Diego, CA. This vine typically blooms very heavily in spring - late summer. Photo taken evening of Jan. 12, 2012.

Yes, there's only limited room. I think I'd rather have the Hawaiian Sunset vine (Stictocardia beraviensis) on the top of my shade structure. I've read it can grow to 50ft/16m in less than a year.

I agree with you 100%!!! The flower of Stictocardia beraviensis has so many colors: red, orange, yellow, pink.
