I'm sure there are loads like us Meanie. My Orchids go in the bath every Sunday for a nice thorough watering. Then it's all the other plant that I can lift.

Yes, they look fresh and clean. Hopefully, they have very good draining soil. Plumerias are very susceptible to root rot in winter during their dormancy period. Potted plumerias usually don't need any water during their dormancy.

These guys NEED water. They are near my wood burner and it's like summer time for them. I water them in the middle of the week as well when their leaves wilt. I have decided....I will plant them in big pots this summer and moving them down stairs....then in the winter they can be taken indoors to an unheated sunny room.

As a rule Plumeria seedlings need more water...however, even seedlings are very touchy about over watering. Even here in San Diego I've lost plumerias to over watering.

Another thing which would concern me is the pots are glazed. These types of pots don't let the soil breathe, so they are even more susceptible to rotting. This is just my friendly opinion of years of growing plumerias. :>)

Have you ever felt the heat of a wood burner? It reaches over 30C where the Plumerias sit sometimes...and always over 20C.

No, I've never felt the heat of a wood burner. We don't need them at the lower elevations in San Diego County.
It seems it does get pretty toasty.

Watching the fire is mesmerising. The whole family likes it and it keeps up warm!

Yes, I bet it is mesmerizing. Only the older (1900 to early 1940's) homes here have fireplaces. The majority of people have outdoor fireplaces, which I love!
