Still trying to get the colour accurate - this is pretty close. Blooms are very dark when they first open.

Never tried clematis in a pot so not sure. maybe some other clever people on here know?
When you buy them in garden centres they are often in pots so I don't see why not, it's just they get pretty big!

I have 3 in pots, One, possibly the same as above and doing great.. im still waiting for another one to bud, but i think last winter finished it off :( So ill replace it with another clem :)))
