Just looked at all of your pics,Amy..that would be wonderful if they are originals..I wouldn't have a clue,but it seems some seem to think so..it is worth going further with this..so exciting! :o)

Hello everyone ,I'm sorry to tell you it's not good news I'm afraid ....I've had conformation back from the Beatrix Potter Society ,confirming that the letters and drawings are very good copies that were used in an exhibition so that's the end of our hopes , never mind , I thought it was to good to be true , I will take the frames apart then put them in a nice frame they will look nice on the grandchildren's bedroom wall when they stay for their holidays ....

Oh thats a shame Amy, never mind, nothing ventured nothing gained! And a great idea to put them on the wall.

Oh Amy, never mind, think they are rather lovely and maybe its best that you havn't got the originals because you would have been frightened to keep them, this way you can still enjoy them!

Amy, I think this was fascinating story you started to narrate. And it ended as fairy tale - we were all excited, hungry to learn more and then woke up to reality. That was like scenarion written by B. Potter, don´t you think so? I see it as a very good lesson, most of all. First, all those who did not know anything about B. Potter - like me - were motivated to learn about her. Might be that it was her message from the other world - do you now that this year is 110 anniversary of publishing The Tale of Peter Rabbit? Secondly, it doesn´t matter if you have original or perfect copy. Pictures are still the same. And kids are not snobs. They will enjoy pictures in nice frames in their room, I am sure. When I was kid, I was always falling asleep looking on one mantra - it was a picture of ladybird and ant :)

Kat I'm pleased that I was able to introduce you to the world of Beatrix Potter , maybe it was a message from B.P making sure that the stories are carried on forever ,spreading them far and wide across the world for the young and not so young to enjoy , thank you for your interest it has been exciting finding out about the pages .. :o)
