Primroses

a treat of ten, they look so healthy

oh, lovely! and so many colours

They are so cheerful aren't they.

I automatically think "yellow" wben I hear "primroses" - this was an eye-opener and no mistake! espcecially like the blue ones, I'd love to have a "blue" part of the garden.

are primroses one-offs? I mean, need to be bought each year? or will they continue to grow through years, or self-seed, or otherwise continue to delight?

They keep coming every year. Not sure if the coloured ones are quite so hardy, but they will increase in size as well.
