the fields i walk through most days, this time of year a blaze of yellow nodding heads, can't help but feel cheerful after seeing them ;~)

they are lovely, sadly the farmer has ploughed up the nearest field of them which we could see from our window and heard today he is going to plough up another large one, feel sad about it and really hope he keeps at least some fields of them. He said not enough cash to made and too much trouble getting pickers :(

Stickitoffee thats a great idea, but can't see it happening, still lots of other daffodil farmers around about so hopefully still get to enjoy bright yellow fields on my travels even if not on my daily walks.

I love to see the daffodil fields and to be able to buy a bunch or two by the side of the road. I am sorry that yours are no longer there, that is a shame.
Spring will give you lots of other lovely things to enjoy.
