Erythronium 'Pagoda'

I was so looking forward to showing mine off, but something ate the flower buds!!

That is a beauty. I've had this creamy one for a few years and something had been digging up the bulb two years ago and I thought I had lost it but it is back better than ever this year. The bulb looks like a dogs tooth hence the common name of Dogs Tooth violet. I also have a violet one and something was eating the leaves but it is now coming away fine. That is sad Meanie. It is so disappointing not to have a flower after waiting all year.

Scotsgran - there are a couple of squished snails on the patio now (they looked guilty)!

On seeing your pic I went to look for mine but there are just buds at the base of the leaves so it will be a while!
