I was successful with mine too,Homebird..all are almost as big as the parent now ..great,isn't it ? .so satisfying to create new life :o)

Well done to you Bloomer,something I have never tried.Which month and how did you take the cutting Heel or straight across

I did mine early Autumn,Bjs..a strong straight stem,about 12" long..cut straight across at the bottom,and inserted about 6" into a shaded area by a wall..Left them a couple of years,to give them chance to make some small roots..as although they had some foliage the first year,they don't make sufficient root system to move them..
As this is Homebird's blog, sorry if I have jumped in,as she can also tell you how she has done hers..it will be
interesting to see if we did the same...good luck :o)
