hi julia i really dont know, i just had images of the landscape in my mind from when we were there, so it may not be a specific place, just how i remember wales :o)))

Hywel i just painted it from remembering the lovely scenery while traveling through wales when we have been to joe or dropped him, i didnt have a good photo so i just painted what i thought reminded me of wales :o))

It's good Sandra. It reminds me of
mid-wales, and that's the area you would travell through from Staining to Lampeter :o) You've captured the feel of the mid-wales landscape very well ....

It is such a gift to be able to paint from memory San. I don't have much of a picture memory I'm afraid. Lovely little stream. I always think your pictures of landscapes are idyllic.
