Ribes - Elkingtons White

Hi B...It is lovely, we have the Pink, but it's just leafing up at the moment...

i like this white one very much!

Thank you Crissue and Sticki it is pretty but I like red/pink so will have to have that one also. lol.

i prefer this white! does it have a "scent"??

not that I have noticed but these are the only two flowers on this new bush. Maybe when it has lots, hopefully next year, it will be perfumed, but to be honest I have no idea if it is supposed to be perfumed maybe Karensue will let us know.

They usually stink! Sorry folks..the 'perfume' reminds me of a tom cat! Anyway, it is really lovely to look at!! :))

well i know the pink ones do, didnt know if the white was the same???

No I don't know either...wouldn't it be a boon if it had a nice perfume!....I bet it stinks ;)

Just thought I'd have a quick look while I've got 5mins. I've never seen a white one before. Are they quite common Barbara. Its lovely.

Hi Rose, do you know I have not got a clue, Karensue told me about it and I saw it and went for it, think I still prefer the pink/red one, I am not a white fan for flowers in the garden have a few but I like the more vibrant colours. After saying that it is very pretty. Hope you are not overdoing all that allotment work. lol. I know if you are like me you will be. lol. Good to speak to you again.

Thats is lovely I have a Pink one but this makes a nice change and I love white flowers;0)

I am going to get the pink one too and plant it alongside this white one so that I get a contrast :o)
