A gentleman in my care owns this lovely Rose....Flowering away happily...

Blimey so many buds already. Beautiful coloured foilage.

Its a lovely Rose Willi...grows to about 6ft...very healthy, dont know which one it is though....He's always telling me to take some cuttings, perhaps i will this year...:>)

All the potential in these buds! Try a cutting, fab if it worked!

Thanks Lulu...think i will....Its in great condition Sheilar...When it finished flowering last year, his sister cut it to the ground....I remember thinking, she shouldn't have done that...hey ho...look at it now.....:>)

Our old next door neighbour (now sadly not with us any more) used to say that roses should be cut down to 2" above ground level at the end of every season. (not climbing roses though). He reckoned this promoted the flowering the following year!!

I think he must be right Sheilar...Probably gets rid of all infected foliage too.....
