Looks lovely out there Crissue, I would not dare plant my tomatoes outside yet much too cold here. Raining again at the moment even though it was supposed not to do so today. lol. Forecast for tomorrow is torrential rain. Yay just what we need I think not!!!!! Cricket matches rained off so no pub tonight for me. :o(

Hi everyone, thanks, we're really pleased with how it's coming along...My Toms are out for the first time overnight last night just to take up the benefit of the well needed natural stuff...One Cherry Tom is planted, and is covered when needed at night...
Amy I started my Toms in Feb in the Sun room, I got fed up having to wait till July for picking almost, like previous years, that's why they are so advanced...I kept them at 20c at night, and just natural sunlight during the day...I have also got salad leaf seeds, so as the Letuces are used, (and they are dotted everywhere) I replace with seeds...
All the herbs are in pots nearby to save space too...
I also did what my dad used to do and buy his young Strawberry plants and plant them the previous Autumn, it gives them a head start in Spring, and I'm quite happy for them to cascade onto the Patio, all adds...
The simple ideas Michaella always work well lol...

Hi everyone, Happy Sunday to all....
Thanks Carol...:o)))
Hi Karen, been trying to create space in our small Garden, we overwintered the Fish until end of March when OH got the new Pond in...less lawn now, but hey ho, that's how it goes...

Less lawn is a good thing in my book Crissue! I was busy replacing lawn last summer...thinking we would need to move again from here and lawn would make the garden more appealing to buyers. But now I have given up on that whole moving idea. I can't find anything that we can afford to buy that is nicer than here, so I am now back to removing lawn! lol :))

I did think back in the Summer when you spoke of moving, how you'll miss that garden, and all the work you've put into it...We only put seven years into our old House, and garden from an acre of bramble...and when the new people bought it, they ripped the whole lot out, some of the beautiful Oaks too...I was flabbergasted..wish we'd sold to English now, but there you go, not everyone appreciates the Garden the way we do...and to redo what you've acheived already, will take years as you know...I'm glad you're staying, it looks and feels to me, perfect...and with the new extension, wowee...nuf said...(not always about money)...be happy...:o))))

Oh I totally agree Crissue. It's not usually about money at all....as you can tell from the amount I 'invest' in my garden! lol!! No, we considered moving because there are a lot of neighbours here and trampolenes and children playing footie at the front and wrecking the playground and all the trees in the green get vandalised. Then there are the teens at night hanging around in there shouting and doing goodness knows what on the playground. However, although that sounds pretty awful (and it can be), we have a lovely house that will never be too big for us, the quiet beach only a mile away, I can walk to shops in 15 mins, and this lovely garden that I put my heart and soul in to. I just can't find anything that I would like better (that we could afford to buy!). Perhaps in 10 years we will feel differently, but you can't live with the thought of moving in your head all the time. I need to get my roots down properly! I think a lot of it it emotional attachment to my old house, which I still dream about from time to time. We were in it for 18 years through two major renovation/conversion jobs and I also grew that garden from scratch. The children were born there etc......you know what I mean! :))

sure do....shame about the noise...still hopefully they will grow up and move on...lol...
