I know, I know, it's pretty darned awful, but May is my favourite month and I am determined to enjoy it. I realised this morning that all I've done for over a month is moan...but the plants are growing in spite of the cold and if I can't be cheerful in May, then it's going to be a bad, bad summer.....so......I'm trying to see the positives. Today i had to take Rachel to Dundee, and all along the bypass....cherry blossom, new leaves, and rhodys in flower...just stunning...and that is on a busy dual carriageway....so I shall be happy whenever the sun shines and I can see the MAYNESS! :)))

I thought you were talking about May blossom being out!! ours is on the verge, a couple more days, and perhaps some sun....please, your garden is looking good though in spite of the poor weather.

Thank you Homebird. The roofs do look blue don't they...but they are grey, and some are terracotta. It makes taking photos very hard as the houses are glary in the sunshine! :))

Cold, grey and windy May here today I'm sorry to say. Some of the stuff in my greenhouse hasn't moved in over a week now...just frozen in time :(
7 May, 2012
It is supposed to be warming up this week though. Watch the plants grow once it does warm up, we shall be chopping them back in no time at all.
7 May, 2012
I'll believe it when I see it. I so hope you are right!

Thank you all. Its really kind of you to say it looks good, however, I just really need to be 'out there' at this time of year and today was really wintry again. Yesterday...pity I didn't have my camera....we went to Brechin and half way there the heavens opened with so much hail and snowy sleet that the fields were white!! It was unbelieveably horrible!
7 May, 2012
Annie, I pm'd you...bet you haven't noticed! :))))
