Alpine Container

That's pretty! I like alpines in pots. It makes them easier to admire.

Yes TT the spring blooms are near over in raised bed.

As its full of spring bulbs.

And in summer it will have fuchsias and geraniums .

But would like Alpine bulbs and alpine plants growing .

I have had this idea for a while or replanting my glazed pots and making alpine pots.

How is your garden doing?

Mines is getting there Kath - border down the sunny side of the garden (20m) have been dug out - planted - just waiting. Some of it is looking good and one part I'm not too happy with but I can fix that as thing get going.
Went to the GC yesterday to buy a protector for my Kimarnock Willow - now that I have moved it one of the boys is using it as a scratch pole. Of course - didn't just come home with those did I....oh no - bought a little pond - it's all the talk on here about ponds that has just drew me right in!!!! I'm not going to rush to get it in - just take my time and do a bit of research first. Don't want fish - that's the only thing I do know.

That looks so smart Kath! I have a pot this colour with a viburnum planted in it and gravel mulch....now you've got me thinking!

Go for it Karen I am so thrilled how it has turned out.

I am enjoying planting my alpine plants.

I think I could squeeze some in around the shrub Kath! :)

And its stayed dry long enough to get my raised alpine bed painted even got its 2nd coat so now all finished .

I am really pleased with how it has turned out.

I shall share photos later in a blog.
