Caught the park gardeners and you were right about this one Katarina..it is "'Cunningham's White"

I know :) I have it too :) You were lucky in Manchester, having so much rain. That is why it blooms so beautifuly. Mine had only few flowers this year.

There are hundreds of these all smothered with flowers and still lots of pink buds yet to burst,

No this is in the park Katarina..My Rhoddy died suddenly in October, so I will wait a while before I get a new one. Though the Azalea is fine, might get that yellow one yet.

So you cut this flower in park???

Sorry, Pimpernel, I hope you speak truth and nothing then truth.
Otherwise you reminds me a guy from Prague who came to visit us one evening and he gave to my mother bunch of roses. We welcomed him, gave him dinner, vine and he left at midnight. The other morning mother found, that he had in fact picked all our roses in front garden :-(
