How strange! I've just got one of these too...supermarket casualty...but I don't know where to put it! lol!

I bought one from the £ shop years ago and it's done really well (it is a cornus isn't it - the stems go red in the winter???)

Sheila your right it is a cornus, and the stems will go red this winter, can't go wrong for a £1 can you.

Exactly, you don't get much these days for a £!!!

How big a space does it need?

Think it grows about 3ft high, but when it gets to the size i wont i will just keepit trimmed

They can grow quite tall I think, but I cut mine down at the end of the summer to about 3'. It still goes red in winter and still flowers the following year.
