Rhododendron flowers

The large flower clusters are always attractive on these. They always get my attention when I am driving and I see them in peoples' yards.

Probably more than 5 years, growth rate really varies with all the rhododendrons I've had. If they are healthy and old flowers removed they grow faster, up to 6 inches in a season. Most of my rhododendrons only grow a few inches a year but it seems to change from one year to the next.
