Iris in the rain......

What is it about iris A, that when you photo them, they never look quite as beautiful as they do in real life? Even the catalogue pics. of them are disappointing. I think it is because the flowers are so 3 dimensional and the photo flattens everything. This is a beautiful iris. I took a snap of my 'Cherry Garden' yesterday but it just looks nothing like it's true self! I love Iris so much and whenever I see a blue one like this, I can actually smell the honey scent just looking at it! :))

Really beautiful flowers! Is it blooming now or did it bloom a couple of months ago? Here in San Diego most Iris bloom in January and February.

Delonix it is still blooming, not bad considering the appalling weather...

You'll have send some rain here to San Diego. I'm getting tired of watering every day with all the warm, hot and dry weather.
