Yes. I love how colourful they are, but so dear.

They are lovely and you can grow them inside too. I've never grown one though. We need to keep our eyes peeled for them in Morrisons... lol - they seem to be selling such a lot of good plants at low prices this year!

me too but i also saw them at malvern today and spoke to that lady who was on GW

I love Morrison's ... They were getting a slating on Radio4 the other morning...No one mentioned the Plants!
11 May, 2012
why did they get a slating?

Not selling the right products...It was the yearly proffits
Fantastic Fish and Butchers sections...and the Plants are great.

if you ask me the press like to have a go at anyone or anything, they will probably go through all the supermarkets!!!
i think thats an unfair criticism. its nearly impossible to predict exactly what is needed.

11 May, 2012

£20 is far too much!!
I did grow one, but it only proved to be fairly hardy (not very hardy)!
I have one Abutilon in bud that I've grown from seed - it stands fully 10cm tall!

The price is similar here - 17,90 Euros.

Well I think Morrisons is great, abutilons or no abutilons. I wish we had one here! Isn't that where I bought those super spotty mugs, Sticki? I wish I'd bought more, now.
13 May, 2012
You bought mugs as well G..?
Either very good at packing or very large cases.
13 May, 2012
Bought one in a peachy colour last year reduced to £7 and it flowered right up until November and it has survived the winter has lots of new shoots and yesterday at The Range found another one in yellow reduced to £4.99 I loved them :)
13 May, 2012
I would have them at that price Nana d. Well done you.

You have no idea quite how good at packing I am, Pims, I have practised it a bit, though. It took me three days to unpack everything! It was like 3 Christmas mornings rolled into one. Plants, seeds, bulbs, goodies to eat and drink, (joints of lamb and packs of sausages, cheddar cheese, smoked fish and bacon, spices and mango chutney) books, dvds, clothes, medicines, paints, Christmas cards, makeup, post, bedding, a bathmat, a kettle, plantfood, etc., etc.............oh yes, AND the mugs, but no Abutilon, sadly.
